JAPAN / GENTLEMEN TAKE POLAROIDS PROMO T-SHIRT

£22.00
Limited Availability

PHOTOGRAPH LICENSED FROM: NICOLA TYSON

An imagined promo-style JAPAN t-shirt inspired by the launch of Gentlemen Take Polaroids, the band’s first album for Virgin Records.

The design takes its cue from the original period advertising for the album, using the early JAPAN logo and “new album” promo language to create something that feels like it could have existed at the time - a lost Virgin Records promo shirt from another version of 1980.

The band image is licensed from artist Nicola Tyson and has been reworked into a distressed monochrome print, with aged edges and worn texture to give the design the feel of an original vintage transfer beginning to crack and peel.

Printed and finished in-house on premium Bella+Canvas 3001 t-shirts, chosen for their soft feel, modern retail fit and quality finish.

Available in selected colours including Asphalt, Dark Teal, Khaki, Vintage Black and Red.

Please allow up to 7 working days for dispatch. This allows us to offer more sizes and colours across a limited, carefully managed t-shirt run.

PLEASE NOTE: T-SHIRT TRANSFER HAS BEEN INTENTIONALLY DISTRESSED.
